I made this essence on my ancestral island of Sicily at Morgantina, now a protected archeological site that was once a vibrant ancient settlement and sanctuary devoted to Persephone and Demeter constructed in the womb or at the center of the island. The Mandrake of this essence was in glorious bloom beside an enormous Pomegranate tree heavy with fruit.
